Sergio Melta (born 16 March 1954), is a former Australian footballer, who had an extensive career in Australia's National Soccer League, spent entirely with Adelaide City.〔http://www.ozfootball.net/ark/Players/M/ME.html〕 He won the NSL's player of the year award in 1984.〔http://www.ozfootball.net/ark/NSL/NSLawards.shtml〕 His only first class international appearance was in 1986.〔http://www.ozfootball.net/ark/Socceroo/1986A.html〕 He also took over head coaching role of West Torrens Birkalla in the FFSA Premier League.
